North Bend
Under the McCullough Bridge — established neighborhoods, bay views, and the region's airport right in town.
North Bend is the residential half of the bay area — the side with the schools, the neighborhoods, and the bridge. The McCullough Memorial Bridge arches over the bay from downtown, and most of the town's streets climb the hillside behind it with water views over the bar.
Homes are solid mid-century stock — ramblers and two-stories on real streets, some with bay views that would cost double in Cannon Beach. It's the practical choice: airport in town, grocery stores, and Coos Bay's working waterfront five minutes over the bridge.
